We believe having fun at work improves morale, networking and encourages employees to have a better work ethic. We invite others to join in our fun. The more the merrier.

Fat Tuesday 2006
The Law library celebrates Mardi Gras in a 'BIG FAT' way. Our Mardi Gras Celebration is on the Tuesday preceding Ash Wednesday every year. Yes, we know it is the the kick off the lenten season for some religions, but we just use it for an excuse to eat a lot of sugar.

Pie Day 2004
Every November we have Pie Day, typcially it is Pie specific. But we have on occasion extended it to include cakes and other desserts as well. Everyone is encouraged to bring in a pie (homemade or otherwise) and enter it for the taste test. Past awards have been given to Best Tasting and Best Presentation. Check with us on the date as it changes every year.

Chili Cookoff
Each January the Law Library hosts a Chili Cookoff. Baby, it's cold outside, and everyone has the blahs after the holidays. A perfect time for another FUN EVENT at the Law Library. The date changes yearly but it is always a good time. Make or Bring your favorite chili and have all the taste testers vote on their favorite. Awards have been given out for Best Taste and Most Unique.

Halloween
If it is October and you are in the Law Library looking for the Librarian, here's her sign...
National Library Week

Typically in April each year. It is always a good time, and there is so much fun that it deserves a link of it's own. Click here for more information on National Library Week.
