2013 Bar President W. Stephen Haynes

It is my privilege to be President of the Clermont County Bar Association this year. I was informed that it is customary for the incoming President to write an introductory "Welcome" to the members of the Bar and those who visit the CCBA website.

I think back to when I was a baby lawyer being introduced by Ken Zuk to the members of a meeting in (then) Judge Schwartz's courtoom, the fun and fellowship at the Gun Club, Stumps, the "Prom" and the CCBA softball team. Our bar has aged well, I think: we still have the Gun Club, Stumps as well as other activities including the golf league and outings, members who participate in a bowling league, Keeneland and Reds games and many other occasions to network and socialize.

We have CLE seminars, the Lawyers' Referral Service as well as other resources to help us as lawyers thanks to Carol, Kim and Debbie at the Law Library.

I am proud to be President of this Bar Association and recommend membership to anyone practicing in Clermont County.
